I’m looking to decorate my back yard for a kids (2 year old) Halloween party. I don’t have many trees in the middle of the yard so I can’t really hang things. I have a few signs I am going to post, three tables with Halloween tablecloths and pumpkins and gords (sp?) as decorations but don’t know what else to do. I don’t want anything scary. Would scarecrows be alright or is that not really Halloweeny?

Also, do you think I need to decorate everyroom? I decorated the dining room with a Hallween table cloth and a few things hanging from the chandelier and decorated the family room with streamers and a centerpiece. But, I don’t really plan on decorating the playroom except maybe a few things hanging from the ceiling. Is it necessary to decorate the kitchen?

If there is a party with alcohol and adults go to a bar, it can be very offensive and vulgar but if there is a birthday party for kids like at Chuck E Cheese with non alcoholic drinks and just a more casual party, is this more different? I rather go to a party where people aren’t drunk but how can I go to a party at a bar if everyone drinks and is drunk as hell?!!! Its way too much for me!

I’m not sure if we’re inviting just the boys or the whole class for my son’s 5th birthday party. We’ve been to a few and it seems like the girls usually go to the parties, the boys not so much. Anyway, in your experience, when you invite a whole class at that young of an age, how many kids actually come? is it like half? or even less?

It’s going to be sooo expensive if all the kids came, but I’m hesitant to invite just the boys and only a few show up. Ultimately its my sons decision, I was just wondering who had experience with this stuff. Thanks!
